ICP  REGINA YOUTH VOLLEYBALL

UPDATE: MARCH 16, 2020

PLEASE SEE OUR ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING WINTER 2020  HERE.

NEW!!! 2020 CLUB VOLLEYBALL
January-April/May

What is Club Volleyball?

Club volleyball runs from January to April/May and is a higher level of commitment than the ICP volleyball league. Club teams compete in additional tournaments and have the option to travel to away tournaments as well. As such the cost is higher and the time commitment is greater.

With that said, ICP is thrilled to be offering a unique Club team opportunity for players this year, allowing players to register on an ICP Club team and have their team compete in our weekly league as well as additional tournament play.

This Club team option is open to 14UW/M (women or men) and 17UW/M players for the 2020 Club season.

*Subject to having enough players registered and a coach for all teams.

14U - players born Sept 1, 2005 –Dec 31, 2006 and later women's team FULL!

15U - players born Sept 1, 2004 –Dec 31, 2005 and later women's team FULL!

16U - players born Sept 1, 2003 –Dec 31, 2004 and later

17U - players born Sept 1, 2002 –Dec 31, 2003 and later

The cost is $500 per player to register with an ICP Club team.

ICP Club players will:

•practice once a week on Sundays @ St. Elizabeth School*

•play once a week on Fridays @ The U of R in our regular ICP League at the senior level*

•be registered as Saskatchewan Volleyball Association Club players

*Specific dates and times of practices/games will be announced after registration closes and rosters/schedules are made

Additional fees will be collected at the team level for:
•Registration in a maximum of 2 SVA sanctioned tournaments
•Option to compete in the Saskatchewan Volleyball Association Club Team Provincials
•Team jerseys and optional swag (hoodie and bag)

Players and their families are responsible for all additional costs including travel, food and accommodations

(if your team chooses to travel for tournaments).

We do not hold tryouts for these teams, all registered players will be placed on a Club team.

In order to keep our teams balanced, we may hold an assessment day for all registered Club players,

so we can do our best to keep teams competitive with one another.

Coaches will decide which tournaments to attend in consultation with their players, parents and team manager.

All tournaments must be SVA sanctioned and approved by the ICP Executive Director prior to team registration.

We rely on parent volunteer coaches with all ICP programs. This coaching role involves running the weekly practices, coaching at all tournaments and communicating with your team manager and parents. If you are interested in this role, please indicate so on the registration form.

A parent volunteer is required as the team manager for each team. This role involves managing the budget, parent communication, jersey/swag order, tournament registration, and as the liaison to the ICP Executive Director.

If you are interested in this role, please indicate so on the registration form.

REGISTRATION IS OVER!
